Good video, but what a waste of money who ever decided to buy that big truck for such a small bowl. You kidding me, wasted over $50 000 - $70 000 of more truck when you could have bought a smaller one and saved.

It is definitely one fine truck. Different horses for different courses but I have always liked for NZ roads cab over, possibly with tandem steering; ain't gonna quibble.

I like the round fuel tanks better than those square ones. Gives it a more American style look. Definitely wish they would make those for the US market. Stretch that frame out, big stacks and chicken lights!!!!

It's a cheap, efficient truck.

Do these1835s have better torque than the 1833s? Because our Iveco Trakker 360 made the 330 Merc look bad The 1833 is low on torque and driver position/cab felt old where as the Iveco is better in all respects for a bulk spreader.The new 360 has. 8.7 liter engine with more torque.Also the 1833 mirrors we replaced those with after market as the are terrible.

Cabin leg room needs upgrade

They are an outstanding truck. Many companies have opted for the Mitsus as they can’t get Hinos and not only are almost all specs lower for the same price (or even more), the drivers hate them. Yet those in Hino 700s with over 1 million kms on the clock still love them. Compared to Mitsubishi, Hino’s engine is bigger (9L vs 11L), it has more power, more torque, more gears (12 vs 16), more technology, more safety features, a far better wrap-around cockpit, and if you can actually get a Hino (or Kenworth or Mack) within 2 years, they are even cheaper. One commented on the size of the AdBlue tank… it’s 56L. Fuel capacity is 700L. You can drive for more than 2 days straight without refuelling either. Although it’s 480hp, that’s enough to pull a loaded super dog, but it struggles with a fully loaded quad dog up steep inclines. But being more powerful than what Mitsu put out, it’s still better. By far and away the Hino FS 700 2848 is the best truck on the market for the money, and better than other brands that are more expensive. No wonder Hino are the highest selling truck brand globally, and why I secured the only one available in my state out of sheer luck (a cancelled order). One small thing the video got weong was saying it’s multiple stage engine brake was called a retarder. Hino call it an intarder, but same same.
